Why Joey.....the one stranded alone could easily have been any Phoebe, Ross, Chandler, Monika or Rachel.....why JOEY!!!!
Lets see if he was dumb then I would say Phoebe was dumber.
If he was funny, Chandler was funnier.
If he was too choosy (which he was not,lets assume), Monika and Rachel were definitely moree choosy!!!
Ross was probably the only one who had the least impact on the show, so he could have been left stranded!!!
I guess JOEY was the JERK who sought meaningless (adolescent) SEX and hence was not the BF or a Couple material......
Moral: Be dumb, be funny, be picky, be anything, but dont be a JERK .
All of you who hate jerks, stop reading.......people who love JERKS read on....
Why JOEY......
Probably because he was the one who was most sought after and a huge fan following....who would have wacthed a ROSS, MONIKA, PHOEBE, RACHEL or CHANDLER. People did follow JOEY (the series)....and he again got to flirt around with a hell lot of more Women (including Lucy Liu)......No matter how dumb he was he always got an awesome chick, he never went for second best (like monika, rachel or phoebe), yep he did have a thing for rachel, but lets see she was the best out of the three chicks available in friends....
So all you jerks be proud coz not only you get the best chicks, but you get them in plenty!!!!! Moreover the girls secretly always want you rather than the nice ones.....but dont fall for it, just get in and get out, because this is what you are best at, being a JERK!!!!!

And no... Joey is neither dumb nor is he funny; he is good humored. Chandler is sarcastic. Its only Joey who knows how to laugh on himself; its only him who is really happy. I dont think he is really a Jerk. In fact I feel he is the best among the rest of them. Rachel is a mean bitch; But Monika.... Oh I do have a thing for her :D
