I have an ACE high straight draw.....but you got FLUSHED dude.......
this is what I said last night while I was awake late night playing poker with unknown online Poker Buddies.....I won a huge pot and flashed it. Little did I know what was in store for me ahead......After winning at a lot of tables I felt as if I could actually go and play at WPT. Since that was not possible I left the ordinary tables and went to try my hand at SIT-n-GO...i went down at the 6th place(out of 9) and lost a fortune (as table fee) by playing bad. Well I had collected a million e-dollars in around 10 days and lost almost 20% of it in one tourney. This did not deter me and I felt like giving it another shot, and don't know what got into me went for an even bigger stakes table....I wont say I am too good at poker but yeah I have learnt it pretty fast, or so I felt before what happened next. Out of 9 people at the table 5 were out, which meant I had to see one person go out and I was going to get something out of this table....well my hole cards were pair of 9 (clubs and diamond). I saw two people fold in front of me and wanted the Chip leader to at least call, he actually did call, I checked. The flop came 9, 9, and King of clubs. I had hit four of a kind, trust me its a Huge hand. The chip leader put a heavy bet, which is sometimes done to bully the person with less chips out. I was loving it as I felt he was a dead duck to be shot, there was no hand which could have beat me with those many cards lying at the table. Most people would have called and lured the other person to play more. I did not, I went all feeling that even if the other guy folded I was still going to easily sail through into the last three. The ass he was he called me, what did he have in his hands: an Ace and 10 of clubs, i was actually thinking that since he was calling me he probable had two Kings (which would have still meant that I had the upper hand). But to call with ace and ten with just one club on the board was not the best call. The turn card was a Jack of clubs, which meant that he could have hit a flush if it was a club on the river card, but still he was lying dead because even the flush would not have beaten my four of a kind. The river card was the Queen of clubs, the only out for that guy to win. He had hit the royal flush, the ultimate hand of poker!!!
I lost all my chips and felt real bad......Just wondering how would people feel when they play with real money....what happens to them when lightning hits them for REAL!!!!
Hmmmm moral of the story: Don't just put everything on stake with the second best thing (in my case it was probably the 4th best thing). At least don't do so in life.
Actual moral of the story: Take risk(like the other guy), who had nothing, coz KHUDA MEHERBAAN to GADHA PEHELWAAN......
WPT is World Poker Tour.
P.S: I don't play Poker any more.
Oh yeah: I have started to play a new game: Mafia Wars....join my Mafia....
