So much has been said and talked about Monday Morning blues....so here sitting at home on one breezy Sunday morning I felt to write something about the never appreciated Soothing Sunday morning.....
I still remember the school days when we always waited for Sunday to arrive ASAP so that we can sleep that extra few hours without Mom Dad dragging us out.....No school, no tutions, no early morning cries.......the day used to start wid Rangoli....there were just songs based shows then (the other was Chitrahaar, on wednesday and friday evenings) ......but we kids used to sleep , Rangoli was more for Mummy Papa....the sexy hot breakfast used to be ready by 8...there were so many TV shows after that which we all used to love....then in the evenings it used to be one or the other relative/friend visiting our place .....good old days........
Well the Sunday mornings are no more the same to be honest.....with the 5 working days culture it is now the friday night parties, saturday morning outings, and then again saturday night parties exhausts you so much that its now just the Sunday morning hangovers........no special TV shows (watch anything anytime you want now)....the week long wait people used to have to watch those shows is no more there....
The Sunday morning has become the time to just sleep now and get ready to face the tedious week ahead (irony is that now its actually one day less)......Its a pity that the once awaited and looked upon Sunday morning has become so dead and dull that noone really cares much about it......
hey who was the guy who revived the magic of Radio......can we not do something to revive the Magic of the old Sunday morning by somehow pumping life into it.....Wake up guys....
